Authors note :: This manga didn't leave a Yaoi impression on me. Many people claimed it to be a Yaoi genre, but at the beginning the mangaka had already stated Yuki was a girl even if it's in the past. This sorta left a gender bender impression on me, I mean he/she has reincarnated so many times it's just that this is the first time Yuki turned out to be a boy. I find it ok, this some how gives Yuki a much more stronger character (I GUESS).
To those comparing Hino Matsuri sensei's (Vampire Knight) drawing technique with Odagiri-Sensei's, I do agree CERTAIN ANGLES of the drawing seems to have lots of similarity. However that's common in the manga world. Yes, I did mistaken Ruka as Kaname.
Chapter 1 - 23 has been scanlated into English scans. What's more the anime which aired during 2010 also had this chapter included in one of the episodes. So this is gonna be a very short chapter. I wouldn't waste a lot time for this chapter, also let me tell you I'm not the biggest fan for flash backs. I'm gonna finish Volume 5 with this post & hopefully Volume 6 in the next post, like I said the anime covered most of it. There's no need for me to go in detail. To those who didn't watch the anime, you probably won't know what I'm typing about. But to ease your pain (instead of watching all 24 episodes) visit Wikipedia, it has some pretty good information.

Chapter 24 ~ Paradise Lost.
Continue from where chapter 23 ended, This chapter starts with the time frame when Takashiro was alive 1000 years ago. It starts with Reiga & Yomi sending Takashiro off. Yomi suddenly calls out to Takashiro wanting to say something but held back. Moving back to the present, as Yuki followed Takashiro through the bamboo woods (It seemed like a perfect name) his mind kept repeating of what Takashiro said, Having a Duras residing within his body. He kept thinking how much risk Takashiro must've took and he has live at the Twilight Mansion (It didn't say Mansion but it kinda meant in the Twilight, correct me if anyone knows) 1000 years since then and perform the "reincarnation spell" for the Zweilt members and etc. (Watch the anime!) They then arrive at a super tall monument, calling it the "God's Stone" which is has some sort of relation with the Zweilt's powers including Yuki's. Fast forward, Kuroto suddenly appears and says he just drop by to report and is leaving (meaning going home). Suddenly, Yuki asked Kuroto whether he could play Shogi with him, Yuki states that he really likes how Kuroto always play Shogi which causes Kuroto to blush. Kuroto slightly stunt with Yuki's statement starts to leave, still blushing, and said that didn't he said that he wasn't gonna play Shogi anymore. Kuroto leaves them and Yuki states how Kuroto is willing to give up playing Shogi to perform his Zweilt duties. Conversation continues from there with Takashiro regarding bout Kuroto's past & hatred. Then he says that once a Zweilt guardian is killed by a Duras, the Duras destroys the soul thus reincarnation is impossible for those Zweilt. So the monument also serves as a remembrance for those who had fought for this war. Yuki asked whether all the Duras they fought was summoned by Reiga, Takashiro says yes. He says that as Reiga's powers are special, in order to summon a Duras you need lots of power & mental strength. However in Reiga's case, he was able to summon many Opast (High Class Duras) in one go. He continues to talk bout Reiga's powers, his method of reincarnation (more like how it differs from the Zweilt) & his past bout his identity as a half blood, "Forbidden Child". (Skipping this part, as the anime explains most of it). So, Takashiro tells Yuki that the Kanata-san Yuki knew, was not a a fraud, as Reiga's powers need time to mature before his memories & powers are revived. Yuki turns serious and ask why Reiga would betray the clan. And there we go back into the past. Takashiro explains that in the past there were four high ranking personages (got the word via wikipedia), there was Yomi, Reiga, Him and some unknown guy who was the most powerful. Scene switches to where Yomi & Reiga were saying goodbye to Takashiro as he was going on a mission. Fast forward, he comes back and find the Giou Clan's village burning, he rushes in to hear someone say "Reiga-dono has gone mad" and find Reiga covered in Blood with Yomi dead beside him. Reiga unleashes his power at Takashiro and that was how he got a cut on his face. The chapter continues with the people saying they don't know what happened to Reiga or why he would do something like that. Takashiro kept thinking there was no way Reiga would betray and what in the world happened. He replays the scene where Reiga said that "Humans do not deserve to live, they deserve to die" Back to the present, Takashiro then says too many blood has been spilled that's why they must capture/stop Reiga at all cost. He tells Yuki to give up on Kanata-san as the Kanata-san he once knew is now dead.

Chapter 25 - 決意、そして (And, Determination)
It begins with Takashiro's butler (I totally forgotten bout his name) having a short conversation. Moving on, as Yuki was walking away, Sodom (I want it as my plush toy), bumps onto Yuki's head, HARD. Suddenly, a suspicious looking figure appears at the end of the trail. Yuki wondered since when there was a scare crow (HAHA). Turns out it was just Tachibana welcoming him back also offering some so called comfort with a statement like this "Fly to my embrace & start crying". Instead of getting a reply from Yuki, he gets a punched by a short haired woman stating how inconsiderate he is and how he is pouring salt onto the wound. Her name is Tsubaki. Tsubaki suddenly hugs Yuki, cries and laments how terrible he must be feeling right now.Out of the blue, Yuki ask whether Tsubaki & Ibuki are his aunts. They said yes. And they started to talk bout Mizuki, Yuki's mother.They say he is their precious nephew and hands him a photo of his mother (PRETTY). They say she disappeared without a trace with Yuki. Even so, they assured Yuki that his mother loved him a lot as during the pregnancy she cared a lot for him. They believed it was in order to protect him, she gave him up for adoption. Scene switches, Tsubaki suddenly said that she's gonna ask him, as his aunt, regarding his decision in the future. After a few pauses, Yuki said that he wants to end this fight. He said that though the demons/Duras are scary, but he treasures the Zweilt guardians, Luka & Kanata-san a lot and wishes to protect them. So he decided if only a fight can resolve it, so be it. Tsubaki, cutely, hugs Yuki and yells how manly he was to say those words. Unknown to them, Seishirou and Kuroto were eaves dropping, Seishirou then tries to persuade Kuroto to have a game of Shogi with Yuki. Fast forward , Yuki thinks bout his conversation with Takashiro also about Kanata-san and finally Luka. He wonders in the past what in the world happen to Luka & him. But he says to himself that he can't ask anymore as his brain is filled with too many things. Kuroto appears out of the blue and agree to play Shogi with Yuki. Scene switches to Seishirou & Tsubaki where they talk a bit. Seishirou says that he took 4 years to become to Zweilt guardian and now he can have his revenge.

Chapter 26 - 夜 (Night)
It starts with Yuki and Kuroto playing shogi and Luka came into the conversation. Yuki says how Luka won't enter the resident because some people still can't accept him. Kuroto states that it's because of some fickle minded seniors. Yuki ask doesn't he mind at all. Kuroto says that even though he is a Duras they are comrades. He continues saying, given Ruka's status as the "Bloody Cross", if he didn't join them to fight, they could have suffered more casualties (something like that). Also, the given situation, doesn't need one to give much thought as he believes Ruka will never betray Yuki. Yuki smiles and said how he likes Kuroto very much. This causes Kuroto to have a P.O.V moment stating how Yuki has a nerve wrecking personality. He then thinks maybe he is just trying to distract me from winning. Their conversation continues this time regarding the duty of the Zweilt members, which I won't go in detail. Then they talk a bit of Seishirou & his past about the the death of their godfather, murdered by "that man". Scene switch to Seishirou & Tsubaki doing more talking which I won't go in detail. Then, there's a flashback of Seishirou, Kuroto, Tsubaki with the Godfather. It shows mainly Kuroto learning kendo and his childhood with Seishirou to the point when "that man" who is a high ranking Duras arrives at their houses foot step.

Conclusion :: WHEW! That's a wrap for Volume 5 of Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wa Shitteiru. Please note that these are just brief spoilers, it may vary very slightly once the scans are up.
